So one day, we are driving to Midd and Logan says, "Mommy, when I am on American Idol I am going to sing We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, do you think Simon will like it?" So flash forward about 2 weeks when Idol contestant Michael Johns belts out his best performance yet of the infamous Queen anthems. It took everything I had not to wake my child up at 10pm so he could see it (we do watch it with him every week, but we watch it the next day). First thing in the morning, I poured him a bowl of cereal and put it on for him. At first he was just staring at the the TV and then he started rocking out. When he was done singing Logan says "I could have done better", but then comes the commentary from Randy, Paula and Simon. Simon says "That was brilliant" and Logan looks at me and says, "Mommy he liked it!!! I can do it!!!"
Well, my little champion may not be the "strongest swimmer" but he got heart.
